Curriculum

Trinity Lutheran School’s curriculum delivers an education that is more traditional in nature, and more classical than progressive.

It is more traditional in the sense that we preserve and use the best of the past – rich content with an emphasis on phonics, reading skills, and numbers sense, skills like memorization of many Scripture verses right along with math facts, and identifying and understanding key ideas and concepts.

It is more classical in the sense that we stress passing along things of abiding truth and value. Most importantly, these are the saving truths of God’s Word, but also a body of secular knowledge God has given the world that is true, beautiful, edifying, and suitable to foster life-long learning and leadership.
