TRINITY FACULTY

PRE-K 3/4 and Kindergarten Grades 1 through 8

Beth Hagedorn

PRE-K Teacher

Hello Members of Trinity Lutheran Church. My name is Beth Hagedorn and I will be teaching 3 and 4 year old preschool here at Trinity Lutheran School.
I went to Martin Luther College, in New Ulm, Minnesota where I graduated in 2000. All of our children enjoy being active in any way that they can and look forward to being a part of the Trinity family.
I am so thankful, blessed, and thrilled to be teaching preschool here at Trinity. And most of all I am excited and honored to be able to share my love of learning and the love of our Savior with His little lambs. I look forward to working with all of you at Trinity as we strive for the same goal. I pray that God will bless our efforts and help us to always remain focused on Him.

Mandy David

PreK & K Teacher

I am Mandy David. I grew up in Cedarburg, WI. I attended Trinity Lutheran
School as a child. I couldn’t think of a better place to grow up! After graduating
from Trinity Lutheran I continued my education at Kettle Moraine Lutheran. I then
graduated from Martin Luther College with my B.S. in education.
After graduating from Martin Luther College I spent a year working with
students with special needs. For the last three years I taught 3K/4K preschool,
and kindergarten through first grade language arts in Mayville, WI.
In the summer of 2013, I married my husband John David. In 2015 we
were blessed with a beautiful baby boy named Emmett David. In my free time I
enjoy spending time with my family, biking, reading, hiking, and gardening.
I am so thankful to be blessed with the opportunity to serve at Trinity
Lutheran this school year. I am so excited to watch all the preschoolers grow this
year in all that they do!

DIANA BORMAN

GRADES 1 & 2

I am originally from Ohio but moved to Wisconsin in 1992 to teach here at Trinity. Most of my family still lives in Ohio so I love to get back there to visit as much as possible. Concordia College in Ann Arbor, Michigan is where I went to college for my degree in education. I am married and have two daughters. Samantha is a junior at UW Platteville and Emma is a freshman at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School. My family loves to go camping and spend time together outside.

I teach Religion, Math, Reading, Spelling, English, Handwriting, Science, and Social Studies to the first and second graders. I also have Physical Education with Pre K through fourth grade.

I became a lutheran school teacher so that I can proclaim God's love to little children. Small children have always had a special place in my heart and I couldn't imagine doing anything else. God has called me to teach the little ones about their Savior and it is a wonderful job to have!

Trinity is a very special community to be a part of because everyone cares about one another. It is great to see the oldest children take time to play with the youngest in our school. We teach everything in the light of God's love and the students learn how to show that love to others.

Andrea Loduha

GRADES 3 & 4

I have been a member of Trinity Lutheran Church since 1986. I grew up in the very small town of Scarville, Iowa. I graduated from Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, MN with an Associate of Arts degree. Then, I attended the University of Northern Iowa where I earned my bachelor’s degree in elementary education. Fun fact: I spent almost a year in Boston being a nanny (and learning the Boston accent)! Then, I received a call to teach at Trinity!
I got married at Trinity to Bob Loduha. We have been blessed with four children. Sarah (now a Luebke) is an RN at Children’s Hospital; Miranda graduated from MLC and is fulfilling her first call to teach in Manhattan, Kansas; Jason graduated from KMLHS and is working in Hartford; and Dylan is a junior at KML.
When I have free time, I enjoy reading, scrapbooking, board games with family, and going to Dylan’s ball games.
While raising my family, I have occasionally filled teaching positions at Trinity. I’m excited to again be teaching third and fourth graders and see their joy and excitement while they learn more about their Savior and the world God has created for them.

JIM SPEERSCHNEIDER

GRADES 5 & 6 and TECH

About: Mr.Jim, after graduating from UW-Milwaukee, started teaching in 1973. He also worked with several technology companies before returning to the classroom. Mrs. Barb is his wife. They have two children and one granddaughter.

Subject: Mr. Jim currently teaches all subjects in grades 5 and 6 (except Music).

Why Teach: Sharing information and strategies for learning have been a life-long pursuit. One of the greatest things that we can do is help others to help themselves. The classroom is the perfect environment for this to happen.

Why Trinity: Trinity is a warm and caring place that welcomes and encourages members to find joy and fellowship as they worship their LORD.

Fun Fact: Every Thursday is Hawaiian shirt day.

CHRISTIN LECKWEE

ART, MUSIC

I'm Mrs. Leckwee. I am the wife to Mr. Leckwee and mother to 6 leckwee girls. 4 of them attend Trinity and two are at KML. I love singing (especially with my girls) ,cooking, art, reading devotional material, spending time in the outdoors, performing in musicals, coaching, playing volleyball and dancing and teaching!

I team teach at Trinity with Mr. Leckwee. You will find me at Trinity from 11:40-2:15 teaching art, Music, Literature, Writing and spelling
I aspired to be a teacher ever since I can remember. While visiting my grandparents house as a child, I played ``school`` with my cousins. I would always be the teacher, planning lessons and correcting papers. As I grew, so did my desire. After graduating from KML, I attending DR. Martin Luther college in New Ulm, MN. After my freshman year, I took a year off to get my degree in cosmetology. Knowing how to cut hair is quite a useful skill to have with 6 daughters! However, the experience left me with a renewed desire to go back to school and get my teaching degree. I immediately returned, MLC ( which had dropped the D). I graduated with a degree in elementary education.
God lead me to Trinity after Mr. Leckwee took the call.
Fun fact:
In 2010, forearm made 10 seconds of fame of the National FOX TV newscast about 4 years ago. They filmed me shaking Ron Johnson's hand at a meet and greet.

DENNIS LECKWEE

GRADES 7 & 8

I have been teaching in Lutheran schools for 19 years. The ministry has taken me around the nation. Beginning in Rapid City, South Dakota for 3 years, Kenai, Alaska, for 8 years, Manitowoc, Wisconsin for 4 years, St. Marcus in Milwaukee for 3 years, and now here at Trinity. I love spending time in the outdoors fishing and hunting, begin around football and other sports, but nothing more than being with my amazing family.

At Trinity I teach Math,Science, History, Religion, Christ light, and Grammar.

I have always had a desire to become a teacher, but it was thanks to a couple of teaching experiences in high school that pushed me down the path I'm on. I thoroughly enjoy being around kids of all ages, but I love the maturity and humor of middle school aged kids. It's the joy of seeing their faces and impacting their lives that motivates me to do my job, and the joy of being able to teach them about their Savior, that I know will change them for a lifetime that really keeps me going each day.

This is my first year at Trinity and what a blessing it has been, the children and their families are so kind and loving, one could not ask for more in a ``job``.

Fun Fact:
Made a deal with the my students that if they brought in a certain amount of money in our coin war, I would spend the night on the roof of the school....during winter. They did and so did I. It was a cold night.
